One may be familiar with mice and rats however Meadow Voles can be a major exterior problem. Meadow Voles are not good climber and are mostly found on the exterior and randomly found on the interior. Meadow Vole can be active during the day or at night time. Voles can be active year-round.

5 – 8 inches in length
Chestnut-brown with a grey belly.
Have a shorter tail
Mostly found on the exterior
Activity increases during the summer and fall months
Frequently found with high soil moisture

Signs that you have a meadow voles include:

Runways/paths – along grass/mulch etc.

Live or dead voles
