Bed bugs thrive in environments with temperatures of 80-90 ̊ F. All stages of bed bugs including egg, nymph and adults will be eliminated if exposed to temperatures above approximately 120 ̊ F. By using the heater to raise and sustain the temperature in the affected area to approximately 120 ̊ F or higher, bed bugs will be eliminated.
During the service, numerous wireless units are present in the room monitoring the temperature. The wireless data monitoring systems ensures all of the affected areas will raise and sustain to the correct temperatures for a predetermined period of time.
A bed bug infestation may look something like the image above on your mattress. Other signs of a bed bug infestation include:

Bed bug encasements are made specifically for mattresses and box springs. These encasements are placed on mattresses and box springs after the heat remediation services have been completed.
Encasements will assist in helping to reduce the likelihood of entry or escape of bed bugs on the covered mattresses and box springs.
